After Lots And Lots Of Research We Settled On A 30` Custom Drone. Louie And His Team Cut The Cuddy Out And Made This Boat A "WALK THROUGH" Version. It Works So Well For Us In That We Have A Huge Amount Of Floor Space To Move Around In. I Can`t Tell You All The Comments We Get About Our Boat.

We Did Upgrade To The Mercruiser 525 And It`s A Bullet! This Boat Drives Like An Indy Car. Smooth Turns And It Loves Rough Water.

We Bought This Boat Over The Phone And Kachina Was A Dream To Work With. They Sent Photos, answered Questions And Calls All The Way Through The Process Without Fail.

Missie, Emily, Brett And Wesley Were Sooooooo Helpful. All The Documentation Was Handled For Us With Respect To Out Of State Registration And "coast Gaurding" Our Boat.

Louie Arranged A Flawless Delivery System To Our Slip 1500 Miles Away With No Damage Or Issues On The Boat Due To Travel.

I Hopped In And Fired The 525 Up And New I`d Hit A Home Run. The Layout Of The Gauges Is Perfect. The Attention To Detail Is Obvious Even Down To The Snaps On Our Custom Color Matched Cover Being Placed With Just Enough Room To Remove And Install The Cover With Zero Effort. I Can`t Say Enough How Happy We Are.
Being In The Frp Business I Know What To Look For In Tooling And Materials. This Boat Is Perfect. The Gel Work Is Phenominal And As For The Tooling, I Wish I Could Hire His Mold Guys.

As A Business Owner (27 Years) I Know How I Like To Be Treated As A Customer And Kachina Has It Down To An Art. This Was The Classic "Handshake Deal" Scenario Where Everybody Came Out A Winner.

Enjoying it (Even at 114 mph!)

I have attached one of the pictures from the shootout. It was really great. There were 4 other boats in the class that Buck raced in. Three Fountains, one Donzi ZR. The GPS actually read 111 but you had to go by their stalker radar, which recorded 103 for the speed. Buck was still 3 miles faster than anyone in his class.

We were the only boat from California. Had a lot of compliments on the graphics. Alot of people approached Buck and asked if that was the boat that was featured in Powerboat Magazine for the speed evaluations. Even in Missouri people had seen our boat.

The boat ran great. Can't tell you how much we are enjoying it. Even @ 114 miles per hour, it is such an enjoyable boat to ride in!!!

Truly Unique!

I’ve had my Shadow now for 3 years, and I fall in love with it more and more with each use. I still look at it in awe sometimes, and can’t believe it is my boat – just like the first time Louie took me back to see it at the factory. I can’t speak highly enough about Louie and the gang (especially Brett, who made sure that my boat’s interior was exactly as I wanted it). You really get the impression that their sole concern is to make sure you leave with the boat you dreamed of, and they go to great lengths to achieve that goal. One of the most satisfying aspects is that I designed the paint job and interior myself, and the finished job far exceeded my expectations. I can’t count the number of times I’ve been told things like I’ve got the “nicest boat / paint job on the lake,” and “the perfect design with the open bow.” I’m really proud too when people point at it, or even come up and snap pictures of it – and most of all, when people in bigger, more expensive “off the shelf” boats give me such good compliments, you can almost see the jealousy in their faces. It’s not only the aesthetic part that is satisfying, but also the performance and ride. It is amazingly smooth on even the choppiest days on the lake. Often the faster you go, the smoother it gets.

Bottom line – you will not find a boat like this, with this level of customization, and such personal attention from the company owner to the office staff to the riggers, for anywhere close to Kachina’s prices.

Sick Boat!

I picked up our new Shadow 30 in November of 2005 and WOW, what a boat! What can I say...the design and craftsmanship is top notch and the crew, at Kachina, is the best. Never have I dealt with a nicer, more talented bunch than Louie and the gang. My wife and I had an absolute blast for the two days that we spent with them going over the final details. Of course me being an ex-drag racer, and a bit crazy myself, I more than appreciated the fact that we could do business with some really fun (although just as crazy as me) and honest people who actually care about their customers and who made us feel as if we were part of their family.

After a recent trip to Lake Powell I've come to realize what I had been missing, all these years, by not owning a Kachina...what was I thinking? The only problem we've had with the boat, is that whenever we try to go anywhere it takes forever to get there. I can't tell you how long we've spent in gas stations and rest areas answering questions about the "really nice boat." I even had one young kid tell me that I had a "sick boat" to which I replied "thanks, I guess?"...once he explained to me that "sick" was a good thing I knew that I had arrived.

So, if you want a cookie cutter boat that looks like six others on the lake then you're at the wrong web site. But if you want a boat that turns heads and is truly a one-of-a-kind, get a Kachina.

A Kid At Christmas

“I still feel like a kid on Christmas Morning! For the time being, my baby sits in my driveway, covered like a baby in a crib. I take the cover off every afternoon when I get home from work and another of my friend’s neighbors comes over to have a look. Wow, customer service is alive and well at Kachina Boats!

After looking at many other boats we ended up buying a lightly used Kachina Force 26. I towed the boat from So. Cal to Phoenix for some work to be done(complete custom Bimini top, bow cover made and installed, complete boat cover made, and repair/repaint of striping and CF numbers), and couldn't believe how I was welcomed in to the Kachina "family" even though I purchased it elsewhere. I was met by Wesley and Louie, who both made sure all my needs were handled throughout the day, and the work was completed the same day as I waited! Louie led me through the facility, and I was shown the high quality standards of which my boat as well as all Kachinas are made to, from start to finish. Everyone to the finishers, riggers, painters, were more than happy to show you why you have the best boat on the market! No question I have a high quality, safe boat in which to put my family. I have never been treated with as much respect anywhere as I was by everybody at Kachina Boats. Thanks, Louie and staff, you now have another Kachina boat owner for life!
